The Southern University Business and Research Park (SUBRP) Project reflects a cohesive effort by Southern University A&M College to spearhead an avant-garde approach to integrating economic development with responsible decision-making supportive Business Partnering. There are three major areas of campus that were planned. Site one, a 20-acre research park, includes offices, retail, hotel, parking garage, IMAX theater, restaurants, etc. Site two, is a solar park on approximately 150 acres. Site three, an 80 acre laboratory and research park, includes an interactive learning environment, office space, and solar training fields.
